Written by ruditigan1 on July 8th, 2008
NOMA is a programme providing financial support to develop and run Master Degree Programmes in cooperation between higher education institutions in the South and corresponding institutions in Norway. NOMA financed by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).
The overall aim of the NOMA is to contribute to the education of staff in all sectors in Norway`s main development cooperation countries* and other selected countries through building capacity at the Master level in higher education institutions in the South.
Masters programmes supported through NOMA are established and developed in the South in close collaboration with Norwegian institutions. The needs and priorities of the countries in the South is the basis for cooperation between the partners in the South and in Norway.
The objectives of the NOMA are Â
To achieve, in a longer term perspective, sustainable capacity of institutions in the South to provide the national workforce with adequate qualifications within selected academic fields of study.
To stimulate South-South-North cooperation through supporting the development of regional Master programmes.
To enhance gender equality in all programme activities.
To strengthen and further develop the competence of Norwegian higher education institutions to integrate global, as well as developmental perspectives, in their professional work.
Norwegian universities are now in the process of composing new education programmes that will be launched through the NOMA programme in 2007.

Subject: Application For Schoolarship in Master’s Degree.
Sir/Madam
I am an inhabitant of Bangladesh. I have successfully completed my secondary, higher secondary school certificate courses and University level. Now I am studying in master’s level. The name of my university is Shahjalal University of Science &Technology, Sylhet-3114, Bangladesh. Now I am in M.S.S 1st year 2nd semester at Social Work discipline. I have already completed B.S.S (Hon’s) 4 years graduation course from 160 credits and CGPA is 3.42 out of 4.00. My class position was 1st at that time.
But more recently I am interested to engage myself to any foreign institution about to enrich my educational qualification with the programmed of masters or equivalent regarding this subject of Social Work.
I am from Bangladesh which is situated in least develop country so it is not possible me to continue my study with high academic cost. So if there any opportunity for me to admit in any top most institution with 100% Scholarship both (Academic & Accommodation completely) then it will be possible for me to analysis my dream for the future trend of my Study. If it is possible, please mail me or telephonic contact about this process. I hope that you will give me the positive responses.
You’re faithfully
