Description of Scholarship: Graduate training in inorganic/organometallic chemistry. The project is to develop heterogeneous catalysts based on metal nano-particles for oxidation reactions and to study their mechanisms. Thus, part of the work will be carried out at MAX-lab in collaboration with the Division of Synchrotron Radiation Research at the Department of Physics.
Eligibility:
Basic entry requirements for PhD studies are: a degree at advanced level, courses to an extent of at least 240 credits, of which at least 60 at advanced level, or corresponding proficiencies aquired in Sweden or elsewhere.
Special requirements for this position: strong background in chemistry, particularly in synthesis and/or catalysis. She or he should also have an interest in developing skills in physics and materials science. A Master’s degree in inorganic or organometallic chemistry is desirable.
