Description of Scholarship: To stimulate worldwide pupils (excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao SAR pupils) to undertake Mandarin language (Huayu) programs in the Republic of China (Taiwan), in order to supply them with opportunities to increase their comprehending of Taiwanese culture and society, and to encourage mutual understanding and interactions between Taiwan and the global neighborhood.
style="text-decoration:underline">Eligibility
International candidates over the age of 18, who possess a large school diploma or higher, excellent academic efficiency, and are of good moral character may well use. Candidates with a single of the subsequent qualifications may well not apply.
a. Overseas Chinese college students or a nationwide of the R.O.C.
b. Students at present registered at a Mandarin Language Middle or in a degree plan at any college or college in Taiwan.
c. Individuals who have previously obtained a HES or a Taiwan scholarship in the past.
d. Exchange pupils to Taiwan throughout the scholarship time period.
e. Folks at present obtaining economic rewards from the Taiwan federal government or other educational institutions
