Eligibility:
Cohorts of going to scholars will be comprised of junior Iraqi faculty. The junior faculty will be, at a minimum, complete-time instructors or lecturers with M.A./M.S. degrees. Some could have Ph.D. degrees. All scholars will also have numerous years of university-level teaching knowledge in one particular of the five academic fields. They will be hugely motivated to engage with colleagues and others within their communities and campuses in the United States. Selected going to scholar participants will meet the following criteria:
* A permanent or tenured position with an institution of increased schooling in Iraq.
* A commitment to advancing their own academic/professional growth and to contributing to the development of Iraqi educational institutions.
* Distinct plans to undertake a project or activity that will offer chance to share information and equipment obtained throughout the plan with colleagues and others in Iraqi larger educational institutions. Distinct activities might contain the growth of curriculum, the creation of teaching materials, the promotion of collaboration inside and amid institutions, or the establishment of substantive and workable relationships with U.S. institutions.
