2011 ETS Announces TOEFL® Scholarship Plan for Japanese Pupils

Research Topic: Programs supplied by ETS Scholarship From: ETS Degree: Undergraduate and Graduate Description of Scholarship: Academic Testing Service (ETS), the creator of the TOEFL® test, announced the TOEFL Scholarship Plan in Japan which will understand academic excellence by TOEFL check takers. The 2011 TOEFL Scholarship Program will issue awards valued at US$ forty,000. A complete of ten TOEFL scholarships will be awarded to Japanese pupils demonstrating academic excellence. 10 US$ 4,000 scholarships will be offered to Japanese students for academic review in 2011 at a university or university listed in the TOEFL® Locations Directory, like institutions in Australia, Canada and the United States. TOEFL scholarship winners will be notified in Might 2011. “ETS is delighted to officially announce the TOEFL Scholarship Plan in Japan to understand educational excellence,” commented Walt MacDonald, Executive Vice President and Chief Working Officer. “The newly announced TOEFL 2011 Scholarship Program in Japan honors English language learners who have demonstrated a robust academic record and helps pupils in meeting their potential academic ambitions. We are really pleased to make this contribution in advancing equity and excellence in training about the entire world.” To be eligible for a TOEFL scholarship, applicants must at the moment reside in Japan, begin undergraduate or graduate study in 2011 at a school or university listed in the TOEFL Locations Directory, have a valid TOEFL score, maintain a grade stage average of eighty or greater on a one hundred-position scale, and submit a completed software type with a written essay and official transcript.
