Eligibility:•Be a U.S. citizen by November one
•Prior to the grant period, fall 2012, have a master’s with an region of concentrate that is applicable to public policy, or a J.D. degree OR be at the moment enrolled in a Ph.D. plan. Candidates who hold a doctoral degree at the time of application are not eligible.

Scholarship Description: The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the U.S. Department of State will inaugurate a new Fulbright award in academic year 2012-13. The Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship will supply opportunities for U.S. citizens to construct mutual understanding and contribute to the strengthening of the public sector abroad. The Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship will permit fellows to serve in skilled placements in foreign government ministries or institutions and obtain hands-on public sector experience in participating foreign nations while concurrently carrying out an academic analysis/study project.
